A Streamliner Steam Train on the S,P,&S
A former Spokane, Portland, and Seattle Raiway steam locomotive, No. 700, pulls a train of streamliner coaches past grain elevators. The rear coach of the train is observation coach, James J. Gilmore, in Southern Pacific Daylight colors. This train ran as a special from Portland, Oregon to Spokane, Washington on the current Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad. Photo © copyright by J. P.
