Gallatin Gateway, Montana

The long-gone Chicago Milwaukee and St. Paul Railroad logo still adorns the Gallatin Gateway Inn near Bozeman, Montana. The Milwaukee Road was one of three railroads that claimed and promoted Yellowstone National Park in the early 20th Century. Trains brought travelers from Three Forks, Montana to the Inn as they prepared for a tour through Yellowstone country. The other two railroads claiming Yellowstone NP were the Union Pacific and the Burlington Route. The Gallatin Gateway Inn is today operated as a fine hotel with dining facilities.
