Grand Canyon Railway No. 18

Williams, Arizona

The Grand Canyon Railway had been open only a short time in March 1989 when steam locomotive No. 18 paused at the former Santa Fe depot and Harvey House in Williams, Arizona after pulling a train from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. The locomotive was taken to the railroad's shops and prepared for the return to the Canyon the next morning. Photo © copyright by J. P. Bell.
